The KINDTrials Network

KINDtrials is a national clinical initiative focused on improving health outcomes and quality of life for individuals with neurodevelopmental conditions, adverse neurodevelopmental experiences, and childhood, adolescent and adult-onset disabilities. Through strong community partnership and commitment to inclusivity, we are building capacity for impactful clinical trials across Canada.

KINDtrials expands the legacy of the original POND (Province of Ontario Neurodevelopmental Disorders) Network's clinical trial infrastructure into a national clinical trial platform.

The CALM Study
(Protocol# SER-11-2020)

A randomized, placebo-controlled trial of Sertraline vs. placebo for treating anxiety in children and adolescents with neurodevelopmental disorders.

This Health Canada-approved study is supported by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), The Azrieli Foundation, and the Ontario Brain Institute (OBI), with multiple trial sites across Canada.
